Kathy McAfee is a national speaker, author and executive presentation coach and is known as “America’s Marketing Motivator.”
A certified master practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and certified Blind Spots executive coach, Kathy has 22 years of corporate marketing experience plus 6 years as a successful solo-preneur.
Kathy is the author of the book Networking Ahead for Business: The Best Vehicle to Get More Customers, Make More Friends and Create More Opportunities for Yourself and Others. (Kiwi Publishing).
She is the president and founder of Kmc Brand Innovation, LLC, a consulting company that specializes in executive coaching, presentation training and motivational services for business professionals and community leaders to help them become the recognized leaders in their field.
She co-founded “Power Up Your Professional Image,” a professional development company focused on helping career-minded women get an edge in the workplace by helping them to improve their professional image, bolstering their self confidence and expanding their networking connections.
An active blogger and prolific writer, Kathy is a co-contributor to the book “The Ultimate Guide to Solo and Small Firm Success” with attorney/author Renee Berman. Kathy regularly contributes to ExecuNet.com and serves as a moderator for their HR Executive Roundtable. She is an approved executive development instructor for LIMRA International, where she teaches insurance and financial service industry executives how to give more powerful presentations.
A graduate of Stanford University, Kathy is a member of the National Speakers Association, a board member for the YWCA of the Hartford Region and an active member of Soroptimist International of the Americas, an women’s service organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls.
Kathy holds a black belt in the martial arts of Tae Kwon Do and teaches self defense workshops for women and girls. She and her husband Byron are proud foster/adopt parents to twin boys. Originally from California, Kathy and her family now reside in Connecticut.
